Charleston, SC Linux Users Group

CSCLUG is proud to be involved in a collaborative project to help set up a Linux powered community computer lab located in the North Charleston area.

The other major players in this collaborative effort are:

• The City of North Charleston
• The Clemson Institute for Economic and Community Development (CIECD)
• The Clemson Restoration Institute (CURI)
• The Computer Science Department, College of Charleston
• Comcast
• The Free Linux Personal Computer group (FLPC)

CSCLUG members will be helping out with their collective technical expertise setting up and maintaining the computer systems and have chosen the Edubuntu distribution for all of the computers in the lab.
